Ms. Louise Wiggett
As the founder and Managing Director of Global Trade Solution and Customs Connect, Louise has more than 25 years’ experience in the Customs, international trade and international Supply Chain and Logistics environments.
Louise holds a B.Com from the University of Stellenbosch and a B.Compt (Hons) from the University of South Africa, as well as a number of diplomas in International Trade, Customs and Project Management. Prior to founding GTS, Louise qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked extensively in international trade at various major blue-chip companies across Africa. From there Louise transitioned to the technology environment founding and managing a number of technology development initiatives and companies and currently still focus on technology as the primary enabler of Customs and Trade modernisation.
In addition Louise performs extensive consulting and international trade enablement throughout the African region and participates regularly in a number of initiatives hosted by international trade organisations like the World Customs Organisation, International Chamber of Commerce and the World Trade Organisation.
