The Unified File Format (UFF) is a WCO-sponsored, non-proprietary standard for non- intrusive inspection (NII) data—recently elevated to version 3.0.0—designed to ensure interoperability across scanner systems by different vendors, support centralized image analysis, and streamline data exchange between Customs administrations.

This session will gather perspectives from Customs and industry on how UFF implementation can improve operational efficiency and cross-border collaboration. Looking ahead, the discussion will explore how UFF 3.0.0 supports greater automation, detection technologies integration, and standardized technical requirements.
