HALO X-ray Technologies designs and manufactures X-ray diffraction screening equipment for both Customs and Borders Protection and aviation security. These new X-ray based screening systems can be tuned to detect all manner of illicit and explosive materials, including narcotic substances that have been specifically cut with other, benign materials to evade detection through traditional X-ray screening systems.

HALO offers online and offline screening solutions that work both independently and cooperatively with existing X-ray solutions and operate in real-time for full screening of packages at high belt speeds. The online HXT264 system offers a TRL9 solution for rapid integration with existing logistics infrastructure, and which can be scaled for higher package sizes as needed. The new offline ARES system, which combines CT and X-ray diffraction in a small, desktop solution will have the highest fidelity for materials identification in both traditional packaging and inside opaque sealed containers, such as steel, aluminium and ceramic.

SINCE 2006: In 2006, Customs UNI-PASS International Agency (CUPIA) took its first step as a nonprofit foundation. Since then, it has been operating and maintaining Korea Customs’ UNI-PASS electronic customs clearance system and has been at the forefront of overseas expansion.

PUBLIC INTEREST: CUPIA, which is an affiliated organization of Korea Customs Service, was born with the purpose of serving the public interest. Since 2010, CUPIA has been designated as the official operator of UNI-PASS and is doing its best to ensure that Korea's trade logistics are processed quickly and safely without interruption.
