Mr. Fabricio Betto is a Customs and Tax Auditor at the Special Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB) since 1997, currently serving as Head of Brazil’s Customs Operational Coordination, overseeing and leading nationwide Customs operational control procedures over import, export, cargo, transit, passengers and postal parcels.
Member of the design team of the IT model adopted by RFB to run the new VAT that will be in effect nationwide in Brazil in 2026. Currently, he is involved in reviewing the operational IT solutions of Brazilian Customs, focusing on creating a collaborative compliance environment based on greater transparency, predictability, and mutual gains.
Previously, he held important positions at the RFB, including Head of the Customs Administration Section of the Ports of Vitória and Head of the Board of the Brazilian Committee of Tax Administrations for the Classification of Business Economic Activities. He Holds a degree in Business Administration from University of West of Paraná.
