Dr. Umar-Ajijola is the Managing Director of Trade Modernisation Project (TMP) Limited, the Concessionaire implementing the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) modernisation project, which has supported the highest annual revenue generation in NCS history, through several modernisation initiatives, including deployment of B’Odogwu, a home-grown Unified Customs Management System (UCMS), backstopped by a brand-new Tier-3 Cloud Data Centre and modern network infrastructure. Dr. Umar-Ajijola has held strategic and leadership positions at Microsoft, ActionAid Nigeria, UNESCO and the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting PLC. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering and Technology for the Developing World (AETDEW), Malaysia, a member of the Nigeria Computer Society and serves on the Advisory Council of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre (ISTIC), Malaysia. Dr. Umar-Ajijola has a PhD in Public Policy and Administration. She is married with children.
