Mr. Min Han is the Director General of the International Affairs Bureau at the Korea Customs Service (KCS), where he oversees international and multilateral cooperation in the customs field. Prior to his current role, he served in several senior leadership positions, including Director General of the Investigation Bureau, Director General of the Audit and Revenue Bureau, Director of the ICT and Data Planning Division, and Director of Customs Clearacne Policy Division, gaining extensive experience across customs policy, investigation, audit, clearance and data-driven administration.
Most notably, Mr. Han has served at the World Customs Organization (WCO) on two occasions (2011–2014 and since 2017-2020) where he played an active role in advancing international customs standards, supporting Member administrations, and contributing to global customs initiatives. Drawing on his experience at WCO, he currently leads efforts to strengthen international customs cooperation and engagement.
Mr. Han passed the 44th Senior Entrance Examination for Administrative Service and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Sungkyunkwan University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.
