Christian Lembke is a Technical Officer in the WCO’s Enforcement, Facilitation & Technology Sub-Directorate, responsible for the WCO Data Model, data analytics, passenger data (API/PNR/BRI), and postal matters. A Customs digitalization specialist, Christian previously served as a WCO Technical Attaché (2020–2023), co-organizing the Data Model Projects Team, and as an accredited WCO Technical & Operational Advisor (2024) delivering capacity-building on data harmonization and WCO instruments. Before joining the Secretariat, Christian spent almost 20 years as a German Customs Officer, including leadership in risk management at Frankfurt Airport’s cargo operations. Christian drafts policy and guidance, manages working bodies, delivers training, and builds partnerships across administrations and international organizations.
