Prasanna Ellanti is Accenture’s Global Industry Lead for Border Services which covers customs and international trade, immigration, asylum, and citizenship, biometrics and identity management at the border, and ports transformation. In this role, Prasanna advises clients on strategic, operational, and technology challenges affecting the global customs industry. Prasanna has considerable experience working with global customs and borders industry clients, most recently in Canada, the Middle East, Denmark, Singapore, Ireland, European Commission, and the United Kingdom. Prasanna holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer and Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. Prasanna regularly publishes articles for the customs industry – from the latest trends, technology points of view, and innovations in customs.
