Gamal Kotb (Egyptian, born 1956) is the General Manager of Misr Technology Services (MTS) He earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science & Automatic Control from the University of Alexandria in 1979 and has built a career spanning more than 45 years in the IT field.
Gamal’s experience includes developing software and implementing end-to-end, integrated solutions for customers in France, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, across diverse industries, including oil & gas, port management, and cross-borders-trade.
He began his career as a software developer and advanced through progressively senior roles in systems analysis, project coordination, project management, and software development management.
Over the past 28 years, he has played key technical and executive roles in delivering large-scale national initiatives for customs, ports, and other government agencies.
In his current capacity, he leads MTS teams responsible for the development, implementation, operation, and management of Egypt’s National Single Window for Cross-Border Trade, NAFEZA.
