Kevin began his career in the British Army; a full career saw operational deployments and active service globally. From 2003 to 2024 Kevin has held multiple high-level positions with NII manufacturers, SAIC, Rapiscan and Smiths Detection where he was the Global Director for its Ports and Borders business between 2019 – 2024.
In Jan 2024 Kevin joined Decision Sciences (DSIC) as the Chief Commercial Officer; DSIC is an applied technology company that combines proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), advanced physics and data aggregation, centered on its exclusive Charged Particle (Muon) Tomography technology and unique Discovery® system. DSIC provides advanced security and detection systems; Based on revolutionary and proprietary technology. Its use in the Security / NII sector for Customs inspectors brings unrivaled penetration capabilities, 3D imaging, material classification in a SAFE environment with no radiation protection requirements with AI/ML fully integrated into its operation.
Kevin is a vocal advocate for the inclusion of AI/ML technology and its inclusion in the imaging technologies used for NII. He is a practitioner of continuous improvement leveraged on over 2 decades of experience across multiple verticals in the NII Security Sector, including design, establishment and operation of BOOT managed services in the ME and Africa, he is widely recognized as a SME in this field.
Education & Professional: Kevin has a 1st Class BEng (Hons) Degree in Software Engineering, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Kevin is a Chartered Engineer and a Chartered Manager as well as a PRINCE 2 Practitioner and PMI PMP professional, he is a Fellow of the Association of Project Management; Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering & Technology.
