H.E. Ahmad Abdullah bin Lahej Al Falasi is the Director General of Customs and Ports Security and brings extensive experience in the customs field since 1993. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is a graduate of the Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development.
Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership positions, including Executive Director of the Customs Affairs Sector at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security. His previous roles include Director of Jebel Ali Customs Centers, Director of Air Customs Centers, and Director of Passenger Operations at Dubai Airports.
H.E. Al Falasi has been recognized for his outstanding leadership and public service, receiving the Order of Zayed II (First Class), the Order of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award – Prime Minister’s Medal for Best Director General.
