Mazen Abualghanam Strategy Object

Mazen Abu Alghanam is a Regional Director specializing in customs modernization and trade facilitation and digital transformation of cross-border regulatory processes with leadership experience across Strategy Object, Webb Fontaine Group, Nathan Associates and USAID. He leads strategic implementation efforts across the MENA region, managing complex and multi-stakeholder trade and customs modernization portfolios and ensuring alignment with international standards, recommendations, agreements and best practices, particularly those of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). His work spans multidisciplinary delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building with government agencies and the trade community. He has extensive experience working with international and development partners, collaborating with organizations such as the WCO, WTO, World Bank, IMF, ITC, and UNCTAD to support government reform agendas and operational modernization and digitalization supporting major national reforms. Mazen holds a BSc in Computer Information Systems and an MBA from the American University in Cairo. Throughout his career, Mazen has overseen the implementation and enhancement of integrated customs and trade solutions, including clearance automation, Single Window, valuation and classification, risk management, inspection workflows, trade portals, e-payment, and executive-level business intelligence and analytics in the region. He brings strong technical and functional depth in smart customs technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, and blockchain, focused on measurable improvements in compliance, efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder service.
